Version scope: these detailed mechanics and route prerequisites come from classic-game community documentation. Story-route pages contain spoilers. Compare your edition before a route-sensitive choice.

Prepare before the declaration
Hara is an early neighboring front, but choosing an opening means checking the available command and the Negotiation requirement. Use specialists for the check so you understand which commanders remain available for the subsequent fight.
Open the prison if you intend to capture ordinary units during the war. The walkthrough documents an automatic capture of Shouji Hara upon full conquest, but that is a separate event from the usual post-battle capture process.
A province is more than one fight
Ise contains several territories, shown as separate battlefield symbols. Taking one territory is not the same as owning the province. The screenshot illustrates the early Hara battle interface and the remaining territory markers.
- Inspect the province and available attack command.
- Check whether you want a recruit before the clan disappears.
- Scout when the enemy formation is important to your lineup.
- Choose a force that can win while preserving the next response.
- Review the result screen and prison after the fight.
This is a decision sequence, not a promise that every campaign produces the same captures on a specified turn.
Do not mix first-run and repeat-run rewards
The community walkthrough describes Akihime as a Second Game recruitment option and notes the capacity check at the relevant choice. A fresh campaign should not be restarted simply because that later-playthrough option does not appear.
Shouji's troop class and event outcome are also different questions: capturing him does not automatically tell you how useful his archer unit is for your current roster. Inspect his commands and cost before deciding to recruit him.
Avoid unnecessary fronts
Before turning a learning war into several simultaneous wars, note what you gained from Ise and what you need next. Territory control, army recovery and a useful recruit are concrete opening achievements even when your turn count differs from a legacy walkthrough.
Use capture and prison management for ordinary targets and formation for the battle interface.
