Prepare for the whole sequence

The documented order is Kousaka, Sanada, Baba, then Yamagata. A warning that the Takeda army is gathering announces preparation for the next blitz. Plan several defensive lineups instead of exhausting every strong unit in the first encounter.

Takeda's generals carry Furinkazan buffs, making buff removal a useful consideration. Inspect the actual available skills: one Tactician does not automatically solve all four battles, and different generals threaten your moves or advantage in different ways.

Keep the conquest paths separate

PathDocumented consequence
Ordinary conquestThe final follow-up kills three generals and captures Sanada.
Defend a full blitz and unlock assassinationThe clan falls through a different event; surviving generals can move into other clans' recruitment pool.

The assassination event requires more than a successful defense: the reference also requires a prior normal Takeda conquest followed by its automatic save. That can come from an earlier campaign. Waiting for the assassination option on an otherwise fresh first clear can therefore fail for a real prerequisite reason.

Follow the bonus path deliberately

After meeting those conditions, watch the generals' response and the Rance/Suzume discussion. The green assassination command requires forty Search. The resulting event captures Sanada; the other generals can later be captured after they join other clans.

The family bonus is unlocked by deploying all four generals together and saving after their reunion event. Do not confuse having one strong Takeda commander with completing that four-person condition.

Avoid premature roster decisions

Keep prison space and national power for the later captures. Note where each general has appeared rather than declaring war indiscriminately until you find them. Important-character flags before the clan falls also explain why an apparently defeated target may be uncapturable.

For battle preparation, read advantage and adjustment. For later recruiting, use capture rules.
